Labco Dance is proud to host its annual gala and fundraiser in honor of the company’s tenth anniversary. The event, DecaDance: Dance Ten Years in the Making, will take place at 7pm on Friday, June 8, 2007 at the Union Project, 801 N. Negley Avenue. DecaDance promises to be a memorable evening with performances by Labco Dance, live music by the Eric DeFade Quartet and DJ Soy Sos, excellent cuisine and a silent auction.
Join current and former Labco Dance members for an evening of “exciting physical prowess and…unshakeable camaraderie” (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette) as they offer retrospective performances from the company’s ten years of work. From super-hero capes to frothy dresses, the Streets to Judy Garland, subtle glances to the powerful dance Labco is known for, there’ll be something to engage everyone.
Then take your own turn on the dance floor to the sassy sound of the Eric DeFade Quartet. The Quartet will start the party with a blend of traditional American jazz and the spicy rhythms of Cuba, Brazil, and the Caribbean. DJ Soy Sos will take the party through the rest of the night, with dancing, food, drinks, and a silent auction. |
